Frequently Asked Questions
What if the athlete already has a membership or VIS Card balance?
No worries — your gift just adds on. It will extend her membership or increase her VIS Card balance. Nothing is lost.
What if I don’t know the athlete’s email?
No problem — the gift card will be sent to you, and you can share it with the athlete however you like.
What if I don’t know any athlete to gift?
Easy. Choose the donation option, and our VIS team will give your gift to a young athlete in the community.
How will the athlete know they got a Gift Card?
They’ll get an email with all the details to redeem and you’ll also have the info in case you’d like to share it yourself. You can also select a specific date for the athlete to receive the gift.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes, the athlete won’t see your name if you choose to stay anonymous.
Can I gift to athletes outside the U.S.?
Yes. VIS is a global platform, and athletes from any country can receive gifts as long as they have or create a VIS account.
How quickly will my gift be available to the athlete?
You choose. If you select Deliver now, her Gift Card appears in her account within minutes of payment. If you schedule a future date, it will unlock on that date. If she’s new to VIS, the gift becomes available once she’s approved into the community (or on your scheduled date—whichever is later).
